About the Author and Founder
Mr. Diya Younes
An educational writer specializing in Islamic studies, Mr. Diya Younes spent many years in the academic field as a teacher and supervisor of Islamic education departments. Throughout his work, he remained closely connected to students, their interests, their questions, and the realities of their daily lives. Through this experience, he came to recognize a growing need for educational content that speaks to children's minds and hearts, keeps pace with the tools and speed of the modern age, and offers a meaningful alternative to the overwhelming digital content that fills their lives. Diya believes that children deserve more than fleeting videos and disposable content. They deserve stories that shape their identity, nurture their character, and gently open their hearts to knowing God Almighty and doing good in the world.
Through his educational journey, he also sensed the urgent need among teachers for supportive Islamic education resources that resonate with students' world and are capable of transforming lessons from rigid texts into stories alive with beauty and meaning. In his view, children learn through stories before anything else. He also believes that true education is incomplete without developing a child's thinking skills, so the student is not merely a passive recipient of information, but becomes capable of understanding, analyzing, questioning, and reflecting.
Hence the idea of IStories was born: A platform that brings together strong values with engaging storytelling, and depth of meaning with graceful simplicity, to offer children a well-rounded educational experience that lights their path step by step, story by story.
